Middle Tennessee real estate home closings and March 2011

Welcome to this look into the middle Tennessee real estate home closing update for March 2011. I just wanted to give you an update on how many homes sold in the Middle Tennessee area in March 2011 and how that compares to the rest of the year and also our compares to last year. the chart below shows graphically where we have been and where are headed.

More specifically March 2011 was 11% down compared to March 2010. However, with closing 800 or so more units in March 11 versus February 11 shows a trend for real estate is improving. If you’d like to know how this compares to the hot market back from 2006. We are just about 50% of the closings in March 2011 versus March 2006. the middle Tennessee market includes everything from Clarksville down to south of Manchester the heart of Nashville in all the suburbs of Nashville including Williamson County, Franklin, and Brentwood.
