Wounded Warriors will ride thru Franklin TN Sept 26th, 2015

Battle Ground Academy (BGA) will be the start and finish location of the Wounded Warrior Project Ride to honor our heroes and serve men and women.  This is a great tribute by the Franklin community and many neighborhoods including Westhaven will be part of the route for the Wounded as they bike around scenic Franklin TN.
The rehabilitative bicycling ride is in memory of Master Sergeant James “Tre” Ponder who is from Franklin.  There are rides ranging from 25 to 85 miles so take a look at the communities and approximate times that the tour will be in your nvicinity and take time to stop, wave your American Flags and to cheer on these soldiers as they cope with returning to a lifestyle after war and with injuries that they incurred while protecting our freedom.
