Family buys a new home and becomes investors with current home header image.

Gray Fox Realty past clients reached out with the desire to relocate the family closer to the school that their children attend.  We counseled with them on preparing the current home for sell that we had helped them buy years ago.  While preparations to merchandise the home were under way we would see a home every so often that we felt fit their needs and we would show a few over the period of a year an none were so impressive that the purchase and less drive time seemed with the purchase.  Until we showed them 2027 Lincoln Rd in Spring Hill and it was a perfect fit for the family and their needs. 


The house was desirable and it went under contract before we could get their home marketed for sale.  Then as sometimes happens the house was suddenly Back on The Market.  We counseled with the clients on ways to make this dream home a reality with several options that we have to help a client buy a home while their home is not yet listed or even under contract.   And if you need to have this conversation, we encourage you to call us at Gray Fox Realty as we have explained the options to many Franklin area families and each case is unique depending upon risk tolerance, financial standing and available resources.  After the review of options and lengthy discussions with the trusted lenders at CMG Financial and Carey Ann Cyr & My Mortgage Team the clients decided that the timing was right to make an offer on the house and to step into being investors at the same time by renting out their current home.  

We wrote a good offer on the new dream home and got it under contract and closed quickly to make this a reality for them as the seller was anxious to move on with this property as part of a 1031 Exchange, which defers taxes on his sale of this investment property.
