Franklin has a Vintage Baseball Team, Who Knew?
Franklin has a Vintage Baseball team, and they are known as the Franklin Farriers. They play in the Tennessee Association of Vintage baseball against teams from Knoxville, East Nashville, Oak Hill, and a few others. The home field for the Franklin Farriers is the Carnton Plantation and they share this home field with the Oak Hill Travellers. Games are played in the Spring on Sundays to carry on the 19th century version of baseball in TN.
