Pilgrimage Festival at The Park at Harlinsdale
Can you imagine a place where you can see performers like WILLIE NELSON, SHERYL CROW, STEVEN TYLER, WILCO, KINGFISH and JIMMY CLIFF, STEVIE WOODWARD, just to name a few of the many awesome entertainers, all in one place in one weekend? In addition to the performers, there is a Break Dance workshop and a Hip Hop workshop scheduled along with other exciting things going on.
That place is The Park at Harlinsdale on Franklin Road across from the Factory in Franklin. The dates and times are Sept 26th and Sept 27th from 10 am until 7:30 pm.
Tickets can be purchased at the Pilgrimage Festival website www.pilgrimagefestival.com. You will also find a map on the website to help with parking and assist you in getting to and from the Park along with other information. Franklin Police Department will also be on hand to direct traffic.
Parking spaces are being sold so if you are local to Franklin you should take advantage to walk or bike to the event. A section of Franklin Road both north and south of the park will be closed to vehicle traffic this weekend.
Franklin is close to Nashville and the music city events are spilling over to create unique opportunities for people to learn more about Franklin and what is has to offer. This is a great event and one of the first large events at Harlinsdale Park since the rejuvenation of this location as a Franklin City Park.
